In April, MPA launched a new program for donors at the $2500 level and above. The MPA Collectors Circle entitles donors to receive complimentary invitations to two or more exclusive events per year, including "behind the scenes" tours at artists' studios, museums and in the homes of local collectors.
For our first event, the MPA Collectors Circle had the unique opportunity to visit the home of our hosts Joel and Ricki Kanter whose stunning collection of contemporary art from Lichtenstein to Stella, wowed our MPA Collectors Circle founding members. The MPA Collectors Circle got to hear some remarkable stories about the collection. The Kanters frequently loan pieces from their collection to art museums and said that when a piece goes out on loan, it feels like they've lost a member of the family. The afternoon with the Kanters was an exciting the kick-off for the MPA Collectors Circle.
