MCF has signed on as the first $5000 sponsor of the 2010 MPAartfest which will be held on Sunday, October 3. For the 3rd year in a row, the McLean Community Foundation will sponsor the popular Children's ArtWalk which features the artwork of students K-6 from public and private McLean area schools. MPAartfest turns McLean Central Park into a family friendly arts event featuring the sale of fine art and crafts of 40 juried artists. Last year's event attracted 6000 art lovers. Although MPAartfest is a fundraising event for McLean Project for the Arts, it is free for the community to attend. MPA and MPAartfest are supported by corporate and individual sponsorships. For more information about MPAartfest sponsorship opportunities, please call Debbie Jardot at 703-790-1953.
